medical release form
Can my employer fire me for not signing a release form for medical reasons?
I have been employed for a company that lends money for nearly 5 years. I was promoted a year ago, but since my position, job title and work duties have not changed. Suddenly, I was informed that I needed to give fingerprints and sign a form release for medical reasons. when I asked my boss about it, I was just saying that I should do if I want to keep my job (which he has to do too) other people who share the same position as me are not required, but some are. Is it legal for everyone? Can they fire me if I refuse?
Most states are "at will" employment states. An employer can hire and fire without cause. If you do not, it is likely you can fire.
